Class B CDL Truck Driver

Job Type: Full-time

Job Description:

  • Deliver building materials to job sites.
  • Our building materials include: lumber, windows & doors, cabinets, decking
  • Load and unload cargo
  • Properly track and document activity log
  • Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
  • Inspect truck before and after trip
  • Deliveries made mainly in the Detroit Metro Area

Desired Qualifications:

  • At least 2+ years previous experience in truck driving/transportation industry
  • Must have Commercial Driver’s License (Class B CDL)
  • Able to drive a Moffet
  • Ability to handle physical workload

Sales Facilitator / Coordinator

Job Type: Full-time

General Summary:

  • This position is responsible for supporting Outside Sales while acting as a liaison between Sales and Operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Obtain and maintain fluency in internal systems
  • Steward of the company’s breadth of products and capabilities
  • Order and quote data entry
    Communicate with Ownership, Management, Inside / Outside Sales, Operations and Vendors to obtain required information and process accordingly
  • Interface with other departments and assist as needed
  • Complete special-order item purchasing within supplier-specific programs
  • Review order confirmations and acknowledgments for accuracy / attach
  • Analyze and interpret take-offs
    Filing and organization
  • Manage/maintain dashboard data
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Ability to:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Clean displays / clean and organize sample room.
  • Keep literature labeled and organized, put away.
  • Complete product, sales, customer service training as assigned.
  • Special projects.

Yard Support

The warehouse associate/yard support’s main duty is to wait on customers in the yard. It also includes cleaning and organizing lumber and warehouse product, loading and unloading of materials, accompanying drivers when needed and assisting load builders. This positions report to the Yard Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers in acquiring their product and loading it in their vehicle.
  • Tally and put away returned product.
  • Load trucks at the direction of the dispatcher.
  • Place incoming inventory in the proper location.
  • Keep the yard clean and the merchandise orderly at all times.
  • Help with inventory counts.

Qualifications:

  • High School GED or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working in a lumber yard or similar is preferred.
  • Forklift operation experience strongly preferred. Willing to train.
  • Must be able to lift 100 pounds.

Ability to:

  • Treat all customers in a courteous and friendly manner.
  • Adhere to all safety and fire regulations.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As our Inside Window/Exterior Door Specialist, you will be a knowledgeable, customer-focused guide through the selection process, providing expert product recommendations and coordinating orders for windows and exterior doors. You’ll be the go-to resource for both walk-in clients and contractor accounts, ensuring a seamless experience from consultation to delivery.

THE NITTY GRITTY

  • Provide expert consultation on window styles, materials, and performance features
  • Conduct take-offs and prepare quotes
  • Educate customers on maintenance, warranties, and energy-saving benefits

WORK ENVIRONMENT

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This role requires standing and walking for extended periods of time, lifting up to 50 lbs, as well as occasional bending and reaching.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

This is a full-time position. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, and Saturdays from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm on a rotating schedule.

Van Helper

The Van Helper/Warehouse Associate assists the delivery driver with material delivered to job sites via pickup truck and or box van and pulls material for future deliveries. While not on the road, the position will assist with building loads, loading and unloading of materials, and maintaining good housekeeping and security.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Pre-pulling and loading orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Ensures product is handled and stored in a clean, neat and organized manner.
  • Executes core tasks in order to improve the customers experience.
  • Follows process in place to confirm all product is being delivered and follows protocol when an item is missing or refused.
  • Assists driver with unloading materials and staging them at the job site in the most convenient fashion for the customer.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Education and/or Experience:
  • High School GED or equivalent.
  • Ability to obtain a Chauffeur’s license, as requested
  • Familiarity with a variety of building products and/or building material industry experience.
  • Able to successfully work in a team environment and be a self-started.

Physical Demands:

  • The ability to carry up to 100 lbs. and carry it 40 yards and/or up or down a flight of stairs.
  • Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
  • This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday-Friday, 7:00am – 5:00pm. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
